Extra Stop: Lingeh September 1st, over night stop only

It took us just under 8 hours to motor sail from Riung to Lingeh Bay - Flores Island. Anchored at 08 17.43S & 120 35.73E in 10 meters of water. Cruising Flores Island at night is fraught with danger as there are many FADS and fishing boats along its coast line.

Even before the anchor was dropped we were swarmed by children in dug out canoes wanting things and they simply would not go away. The only reason they left us was to go to another rally boat that came into anchor.

We hauled anchor the next morning bound for Gili Bodo - Sabibi Island, just off Flores for a bit of snorkeling and a rest day.

Local fisherman going past as we pull into Lingeh Bay, Flores.

Flat calm, no sails needed here and its hot.

Children swarming us, they clung on and would not leave.

The sunset certainly was magnificent.
